I have written copy for a variety of clients in a range of industries, including Buddy Joe Coffee Co., Core Spaces, and The Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law. I take immense pride in advocating for businesses and helping them fulfill their objectives.

Journalist

I recently completed a feature story on gun violence in Chicago, and at The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, I profiled an agribusiness conglomerate in an effort to uncover evidence of labor abuse. In an era of mistruths, fact-driven investigations have taken on even greater importance.

Academic

I have produced scholarship on the state of contemporary journalism, the role of the humanities in higher education, and British Romantic poetry, among other topics. I believe academic debate should extend beyond the lecture hall and become a central focus of public discourse.
